Zimet offers new solution for power line debate
Monticello – Earlier this summer, Ulster County Legislator Susan Zimet suggested the New York State Thruway corridor would be a better route for the New York Regional Interconnection (NYRI) power line. Now, Zimet, a Democrat State Senate candidate is backing another idea – putting any new downstate power routing under the Hudson River, from New Jersey.
